Thache Sailor Slops w/ Pockets!

Product Description

Did you know that Blackbeard was in the British Royal Navy and possibly served on the ship Windsor back in the 1700s? If so he would have worn these types of pants. In fact many historians believe his name was Edward Thache. Hence the name of our pirate slops (aka petticoat trousers). The name "slop" was originally naval slang for the cheap ready-made clothing that a navy would purchase in lieu of an official uniform sometimes from a "slop chest" maintained on board ship by the purser. Today, when you head out on the seven seas to set sail as a pirate, whaler or navyman make sure that you are comfortable by wearing our Thache Sailor Slops. Made from lightweight cotton, these pants come in one color and 2 sizes with an expandable waist for extra comfort. The 7 button fake front fly gives an authentic look with the ease of slip on. The pants end near the knee and have a loose, flowing cut. These pants are great for any sea-bound character to wear to a LARP event, cosplay convention, pirate event or Ren Faire. BTW these slops come with pockets to carry your cell phone with treasure map coordinates or to be warned of an impending mutiny through text. Or the keys to your pirate ship ride.
