Antique L.C. Mayer Hide-A-Phone, Euphonia model. Produced ca.1921 back when candlestick telephones were considered too unsightly for the elegant home, the Hide-A-Phone was one solution for hiding such devices. 14 inches tall. The base is 8" x 8 1/2". This rare find is in working and very good condition, with original paint. Has a very gothic look. L C Mayer produced these cases for only a few years so this is a rare find.
